Calculation of seasonal changes

parabel.gif

This is a representation of three parabolas for winter (blue), equinox (green), and summer (red) position, automatically formed by a simple seasonal change of the two telescopic rods, fixed to the upper and lower part of the reflector frame.

This is the fix-focus system, where the focal spot (origin) always remains on the window of the solar oven, independant of the movement of the sun during the day. Only part of the parabolas are used for the reflector construction. The parabolas are calculated for the realistic situation.

The parabolas are the same, independant of the geographical latitude, which allows for the same reflector frame construction world wide. The horizontal line through zero is the polar axis, which must be mounted at an inclination angle of the value of the geographical latitude. Therefore only the stands are different for different locations.
